Big bass, zero distortion, reliable and efficient connection!

Estoy muy contento con el altavoz. Esperaba un poco más de volumen en los agudos, pero soy un poco exigente. Quería un altavoz más grande que siguiera siendo portátil, por eso elegí el Epicboom. Creo que suena bien. Se pueden escuchar los diferentes sonidos con claridad y reproduce música perfectamente. Recomiendo este altavoz.

I’ve been using UE since the original BOOM. I’ve also had the MegaBoom. The EpicBoom exceeds them both, by far. When I first got it, it had a terrible static sound with bass notes at mid volume. After I updated the firmware, that went away. As I have put hours on the speaker, the woofer has opened up and its output is much more clear and warm than it was new and the bass notes have extended to deeper octaves. It packs easily in a suitcase, although it’s heavy (4.35lb) and on the larger side, the sound output and clarity is worth it when I travel. Also fits easy in a backpack carry-on. Putting it in the corner of a room amplifies the sound perfectly if you’re looking for more output, the tweeters play out the sides and the bass notes are 360°. The only speaker better than the Epic is another brand that is the size of an old school boombox and is impossible to travel with. This is the largest you can go and by far sounds better than the other major brands.

I was skeptical when purchasing this speaker initially, but I can honestly say it is impressive. There is some distortion at max volume, but I have never needed to run this speaker anywhere near max volume. Usually 75% will be enough to be heard clearly through my house and the outdoor feature only boosts the capability. The case is well built with rubber impact points and the magnetic strap is a nice touch. It has been great for outdoor events and listening throughout my house. The Party up feature on the app is also extremely useful allowing multiple speakers to be paired for a full stereo or surround sound feel, depending on the number of speakers paired. There is a fair amount of bass, but with the size Im not surprised since a 4 or 6 sub would cover the majority of the speaker. The battery life is definitely noteworthy and the speaker has exceeded my expectations. The added mesh backpack carrying case is also nice for moving the speaker to and from any location you wish to go. Definitely a great purchase and as always, Ultimate ears has definitely hit the mark for an outdoor speaker that is built to last.

I think UE speakers are the best ones out there. My home got broken into a while back and my MEGABOOM speaker got stolen. I was very sad because I saved money for a long time for that speaker. I haven’t purchased a replacement for awhile because there were the necessary things I had to pay for first in life until recently when I gotThe epic boom. I am so happy I got another UE product. This speaker really has the good amount of bass and volume. I love my speaker. I recommend this to everyone!
