Doesn’t live up to expectations: As a screen, it is bright and fine-grained. And connects to your laptop though a single USB-C lead… when the planets align. Systematically, the monitor doesn’t light up after waking up the computer and the mouse pointer gets off the screen’s left and bottom limits. Sometimes, you can see a window open on the laptop’s screen, while hopelessly running the pointer on the monitor. To date, I haven’t been able to listen anything through the monitor speakers either. It seems to be a driver problem, since Windows 11 automatically downloads generic Monitor and USB Billboard Devices. PHILIPS provides a driver in their web page, but it is not a self-installing file and would involve registry-meddling. Connecting your laptop to the monitor, keyboard and mouse though a single cable and keeping its battery filled up, without a charger dangling around, still are great things; but they come with a price: hard-switching on/off both monitor and computer every time.

This monitor breaks so easily. Their service center also takes a long time to reply. The screen suddenly just turns into a grey screen.

Very good reasonably priced monitor: The monitor is easy to setup and worked straight out of the box using the default settings. I have found the display is clear and bright, with good contrast. The only downside is the low quality audio, however this is a common issue with many monitors so has not impacted my rating. Overall an excellent reasonably priced monitor
