Fiido D2 Motor

Since the nylon-gears failed in my Fiido D2 The bike has been out of action for nearly a year, and I have been stripping parts off it for use on other bikes around here which still do actually work. So I was very pleased to see that Fiido's website now contains spare parts, including a rear-wheel motor assembly. I bought one, and it was delivered in just days by 'YunExpress'. It was an exact replacement, even having the same length cable, terminated with the correct plugs. I did have to buy a new sprocket/freewheel and change the tyre and tube from the old wheel, but otherwise Fiido sent everything I needed. Except for documentation. Luckily I knew what I had to do. The Fiido D2 works again now, although I would have preferred being offered a nylon gear-set, such as Bafang sells, so I could fix the problem without having to replace the entire assembly. I still don't know why the failure occured originally..But I am happy with the transaction, everything was delivered as described on their website.
