The sweet spot between convenience and quality!: After months of researching and comparing machines from Breville, Philips, SMEG and other De'Longhi models, I finally settled on the Rivelia with Steam Wand (Arctic White), and I couldn't be happier with the decision. What ultimately sold me was the balance between automation and control. Unlike fully automatic milk systems, the manual steam wand gives me enough control to texture milk properly for flat whites and piccolos while still enjoying the convenience of a bean-to-cup machine. Since I usually make coffee for both my wife and myself, this has proven to be the perfect compromise. The standout feature is undoubtedly the Bean Switch System. I currently have Seven Seeds' Golden Gate in one hopper and plan to keep other hoppers loaded with Code Black's Ex-Wife and a decaf blend. Being able to switch between beans without emptying the hopper is a genuinely useful innovation, not just a marketing gimmick. It suits households that enjoy different coffees throughout the day and encourages experimenting with different roasters. The Bean Adapt Technology is another pleasant surprise. It provides a solid starting point for dialling in new beans, although a little fine-tuning of grind size and strength still makes a noticeable difference. Once dialled in, the coffee is consistently excellent. The touchscreen interface is intuitive, the machine is compact enough for most kitchens, and cleaning is refreshingly straightforward. Choosing the steam wand version also means fewer milk system components to dismantle and clean compared with automatic milk carafes. The Rivelia is designed to make coffee approachable while still giving users room to personalise their drinks. Most importantly, the coffee quality has exceeded my expectations for a super-automatic machine. No, it won't completely replace a dedicated espresso setup with a quality grinder and portafilter, but it gets remarkably close while requiring a fraction of the effort. For everyday flat whites and piccolos, it's consistently smooth, balanced and enjoyable. Pros Innovative Bean Switch System with interchangeable bean hoppers. Cons Espresso still won't quite match the depth and precision of a dedicated manual espresso machine, which is a common limitation of bean-to-cup machines. It takes a little experimentation to get the best settings for each coffee bean. The additional bean hoppers are so useful that you'll probably end up buying more! Overall, I think the Rivelia with Steam Wand is ideal for people who genuinely appreciate good coffee but don't necessarily want espresso-making to become a hobby. It delivers café-quality convenience while still allowing enough control to satisfy coffee enthusiasts. For my household, it has been an outstanding purchase and one I would happily recommend.

Por qué no la he comprado antes: Me encanta, es súper completa, hace café buenísimo y bien caliente, tiene muchas posibilidades y muy fácil de manejarla.

Compra recomendada: La cafetera es una pasada: preciosa, hace un café buenísimo y es súper cómoda. Si te gusta el buen café y la comodidad, necesitas una superautomática Delonghi. Pero si además quieres que sea bonita y quede bien en la cocina, necesitas la Rivelia. Llevamos sólo un mes con ella, por lo que nos queda mucho por descubrir y diferentes granos que probar.

perfecta: Es una buena cafetera,hace un cafè exquisito. La unica pega es que gasta mucha agua cada vez que enciendes y apagas la cafetera però supongo que es normal para su enjuage

Genuinely life changing...: We have had our coffee machine at our workplace for the last month, and I cannot believe how amazing the quality of the coffee is. It easily beats our coffee shop down the road. Obviously reliant on the quality of the beans, but amazing nonetheless. Requires basically no cleaning. Everything is automated. Genuinely life changing!!!
