Excellent set! I was very excited to work on this. The DC-3 was the first airplane I flew on in my early teens. Great build!

Amazing Aviation Build I heard about this set months before its release, and I ordered it immediately on its release. Having worked at an international airport in the 80’s, I was always fascinated by these older planes, most of which were used for cargo, and were nearly 50 years old at the time.It was a good build, with only a few little mistakes by myself. I mostly used the Lego Builder App, and only looked in the instruction book once. The app is good as you can look at the assembly in three dimensions. The DC 3 was a great part of aviation history. This model will be proudly displayed along with the Concorde, another amazing part of history.

Great Item - Small Tweaks Needed This is a very nice DC-3 with the figurines, as well - I love the wheels that come down and the removable top. There were 2 small missing pieces that I ordered, and thankfully they are just for the exterior. I would request that Lego add seat cushion pieces, as there are only backrest cushion pices, and when I remove the top, those open Lego pieces with the nubs where the cushions would be are visible. Sometimes the pictures without arrows showing where a small piece goes are difficult when placing onto a large section.

Almost perfect I was eager to receive this kit and start the build. Overall, this is s a great kit with a good deal of details. Unfortunately, 2 items of the build need attention, first being the 2 engine cowlings are very fragile and easily come apart, second and most problematic is the slippages of the landing gear mechanism when extending or retracting the gear, wish a bit more engineering had been done done to it. In the end, was a great build and displayed nicely.
