I'm really happy with my Freebook. What I love: a full metal body, slim design, a great backlit keyboard (I'm comparing it with the Lenovo Legion Pro), surprisingly good speakers (they remind me of MSI laptops with resonance-chamber subwoofers), an audio jack (it's a slim body and we still have it), and a bright 2K screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio. It's a 2-in-1 convertible with a 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD, 16GB LPDDR5, and it weighs only 1.3kg. My MPP 2.0 stylus from another brand works perfectly with the Freebook, which is a big plus. The N150 CPU is actually a nice surprise — it handles Windows 11 very well. All office tasks run without any problems, and browsing and video playback are easy. I even installed VS2026, and it works; it just takes a bit longer to compile. What could be better: Battery life is around 5 hours. It’s not bad and depends on usage, but it could be better. The webcam quality is just average, but that isn't important to me. Suggestions for the future: Add a battery-conservation option to charge only up to 80% to extend battery longevity. I'd also really love to see a fanless device like this. I was initially worried about the keyboard layout — the sidebar with the Del/Home/PgUp/PgDn keys — but it's actually quite practical. I don't make any mistakes because the keyboard is great for typing and large enough to feel like a standard layout. Overall, I'm really happy with my decision to buy CHUWI again after 10 years, when I bought my first Hi8 tablet, which is still working and the battery is still OK. I've seen many positive and negative reviews about CHUWI, but I must say I trust the brand — it's amazing what they've achieved over their 20 years of existence. In Europe there's a 1-year warranty, and the user has to ship the device to Germany. If this improves in the future, I believe more people would consider CHUWI. Summary: Great value for 300 euros.
